Indications

• Diarrhea caused by E. coli (traveler's diarrhea")
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) with diarrhea 
• Hepatic encephalopathy

Precautions
Agerim (Rifaximin) should not be used in case of fever or bloody diarrhea. 

Dosage & Administration 
Traveler's diarrhea: Usually 3 times a day (every 8 hours) for 3 days.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) with diarrhea: Usually 3 times a day for 14 days.

Hepatic Encephalopathy: Usually 2 times a day (every 12 hours).
