Therapeutic Indications & Usage

AGIFIX-OX (Cefixime 200 mg & Ofloxacin 200 mg) Tablet from Agex Laboratories is indicated for multi-drug resistant typhoid, Urinary tract infections & pyrexia of unknown origin (PUO).

Contraindications

AGIFIX-OX is not advocated for those with a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, e.g. penicillins & cephalosporins. Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers should initiate therapy upon doctor's consultation. Dosage modification is advised in patients with renal impairment.

Adverse Reactions

Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, flatulence, loose stools, diarrhea, anaphylaxis, and rarelyseizures.

Recommended Dosage & Administration

1 tablet twice a day for 7 - 14 days or as directed by the Physician
