Composition
Each enteric-coated tablet contains:
Rabeprazole Sodium IP………….20 mg
Domperdione IP…………………..10 mg
 

Indications & Usage
• GERD ( Gastroesophageal reflux disease )
• Gastroparesis: Gastroparesis is a condition that reduces the ability of the stomach to empty its contents
• Dyspepsia: Dyspepsia is a condition of impaired digestion.
         
Contraindications
Rabaze-D (Rabeprazole & Domperidone) tablet is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to rabeprazole, domperidone, or substituted benzimidazoles or to any excipient used in the formulations.
Rabaze-D is contraindicated in patients with hepatic and/or renal impairment, prolactin-releasing pituitary tumour (prolactinoma).
Rabaz -D should not be used when stimulation of the gastric motility could be harmful, like gastrointestinal hemorrhage, mechanical obstruction or perforation.
Rabaze-D is contraindicated in pregnancy and during breast feeding.

Adverse Reactions
Generally well tolerated. The observed adverse events have generally been mild/moderate and transient in nature. Adverse effects include GI disturbances, headache and skin rash. Domperidone is generally very well tolerated with few undesirable effects when used within recommended dosages and duration.
Immune system disorder: Very rare; allergic reactions including anaphylaxis, anaphylactic shock, anaphylactic reaction, urticaria and angioedema.
Cardiac disorders: QTc prolongation (frequency not known). Very rare; ventricular arrhythmias.
Gastrointestinal disorders: Rare; gastrointestinal disorders, including very rare transient intestinal.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Very rare; pruritus, rash.
         
Drug Interactions
Metabolize by cytochrome P450 drugs, inhibition of hepatic metabolism of certain drugs like phenetoin, diazepam & R isomer of warfarin.
         
Dosage 
Recommended dose is one capsule daily to be administered orally. Or as directed by physician
