Indications

• Pain and inflammation
• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Gouty arthritis.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity or allergy to etoricoxib or any other NSAID.
• History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation.
• Severe heart failure.
• Severe hepatic impairment.
• Pregnancy, especially during the third trimester.

Safety and Warnings

Etoricoxib may increase the risk of cardiovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke, especially in individuals with pre-existing cardiovascular conditions.
Long-term use of NSAIDs, including etoricoxib, may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and ulceration.

Precautions

• Etoricoxib in Agecob-MR Tablets should be used with caution in patients with a history of hypertension, heart failure, liver or kidney dysfunction, and in elderly patients.
• Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended during treatment with etoricoxib.
